Expected outcome: proposals for strengthening the state policy and tools for its implementation in terms of the use of wood in green recovery in the context of present-day challenges.

In the context of Ukraine's rebuilding, it is important to point out that the government has developed a wide range of strategic documents for dialogue with international donors, creditors, and investors. This includes the implementation of the Ukraine Facility Plan, which is one of the key tools for the country's recovery, reconstruction, and modernization. The Plan declares a " Build back better" approach, largely integrating, where appropriate, the principles of the New European Bauhaus.
This positioning of wood as vital to the principles of the New European Bauhaus. Wood's unique characteristics—renewability, carbon storage potential, recyclability, low emissions, and versatility—make it a key material in the context of green recovery and sustainable development in Ukraine.
