The requirements of the FSC® standard for Ukraine in terms of representative sample areas of native ecosystems – an element of environmental values – were the focus of the training organized on December 4, 2024 by FSC Ukraine together with the State Enterprise «Forests of Ukraine». 

The joint FSC team from Poland, Latvia, and Lithuania, together with FSC International, supported by FSC Ukraine, participated in the Rebuild Ukraine exhibition held in Warsaw on November 13-14. The aim of this collaboration was to promote sustainable low-carbon construction, particularly using renewable materials such as wood.

As a partner of the ReBuild Ukraine exhibition, on November 14, Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) Ukraine conducted an interactive webinar to bring together stakeholders around the idea of responsible use of wood in construction.
