In 2020, FSC initiated the project "Integrity of coal supply chains in Ukraine". The first step of which was the analysis of previously identified fraud scenarios and the development of non-normative requirements for evaluating the integrity risks of companies (see https://web.archive.org/web/20211127212115/https://ua.fsc.org/ua-ua/newsroom/id/625), which can be applied by certification bodies in their work.

The goal of the project is to evaluate the risk of the system integrity and prevent entering the FSC system applicants who intend to abuse their certificate.

Currently, the work in this direction has been continued, and the requirements have been extended for all applicants of the FSC system. The testing of the updated requirements by FSC-accredited certification bodies interested in participating in this project will begin as early as next week.

The updated additional requirements are available by downloading below on this page.
