To support certificate holders in Ukraine to maintain their certification on 31 March 2022 FSC published a set of derogations and interpretations that have been recently updated. The collection of derogations includes measures such as options to postpone audits and allow remote audits for low-risk scenarios or hybrid audits, depending on the risk assessment conducted by certification bodies.

The seminar on forest certification was hosted in Lviv on June 6. It was attended by more than 50 participants, including certificate holders, scientists, educators and practitioners. The event was a part of the 24th International Woodworking Exhibition and was organized by FSC Ukraine in cooperation with the National University of Forestry and Wood Products of Ukraine.

Participants of the training organized by FSC Ukraine on June 1-2, 2023 in Zhovkva, Lviv region, learned how systematic, process, adaptive, risk-based management approaches contribute to compliance with FSC national forest stewardship standard requirements in terms of environmental values.
