Based on the decision of FSC International, an Advisory Committee was established in Ukraine. The inaugural meeting of the Committee was held on March 14, 2024.

Excision of areas contaminated with explosive objects from the scope of FSC certification in Ukraine is one of the main issues on the agenda of the working group meeting and an expected opportunity for certificate holders to maintain their certified status.

As part of the international exhibition KyivBuild 2024, which brought together over 120 companies in the construction industry and attracted more than seven thousand visitors, FSC Ukraine presented the benefits of FSC-certified wood for construction supply chains.
