A meeting of the working group on the development and implementation of national forest certification standards for Ukraine (standard development group) is dedicated to ensuring responsible forestry through the prism of draft amendments to the legislation on carrying out logging in Ukraine’s forests.

Women who lead FSC-certified woodworking companies in areas still safe from armed conflict are showing the way to mitigate the economic crisis in the country and promote sustainable forest management.

The joint efforts of all stakeholders to ensure compliance with FSC values under martial law was the leitmotif of the meeting of the working group on the development and implementation of national forest certification standards for Ukraine, which took place on April 8, 2022 online.
